Fresh strawberry tarts, homemade jam and Saskatoon berry pie are just some of the mouth-watering tastes of summer. It is always a pleasure to take a trip out to The Berry Barn and enjoy giant waffles with fruit sauces while admiring the river view.
Canadian Light Source
At about the size of a football field, the CLS is the largest and most expensive scientific endeavour on Canadian soil in three decades. The synchrotron functions like an enormous spotlight, shining a light on experimental samples that is millions of times brighter than sunlight.

Saskatoon's trade and sports centre. Seats 13,000 with an unbelievable mix of Internationally acclaimed performers and sporting events, trade, consumer and family shows. Credit Union Centre is recognized world-wide for it's powerful and aggressive programming.
Diefenbaker Canada Centre
The Diefenbaker Canada Centre is the only Canadian public institution of its kind, focusing on John Diefenbaker, Canada's thirteenth Prime Minister. Exhibits include replica rooms of his office and the Privy Council Chamber. The Centre also holds one of the finest views of the city.

Things are heating up at the Zoo this summer! Check out the exciting programs offered, for young and old alike, by the Saskatoon Zoo Society.
  Gladys' Doll House Wonderworld Museum
Explore through a collection of over 1,000 antique and new dolls, with 130 different themes. Along with each group of dolls is a scene appropriate to their history. A family craft shop is also available at the facility. Open Victoria Day to mid-September, 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., winter hours upon request. Admission $3.00 for adults, $2.50 for students, $1.00 for child (free for children under five). Free access to family craft shop.
  Kinsmen Park Rides
A family fun park with rides including an old fashioned merry-go-round, train and concession. You can also play village and paddling pool. Open daily May through Labor Day, hours vary with season.
Little Stone Schoolhouse
An actually size replica of a Saskatchewan one-room school. Tours available during the summer.
Marquis Downs
Party with the ponies every summer at Marquis Downs. Live thoroughbred horse racing takes to the track every Friday and Saturday evening. Have dinner in the Terrace, a snack in the Clubhouse, or a burger on the tarmac as they come down the stretch at Marquis Downs.
The Mendel Art Gallery
The Mendel collects, exhibits, preserves and interprets works of art and develops public art appreciation. The Mendel tells the story of art making in our community by collecting artworks by Saskatchewan, Canadian and international artists (historical and contemporary).

Meewasin Valley Authority
The Meewasin Valley Authority is an organization dedicated to protecting the natural and cultural heritage resources of the South Saskatchewan River Valley in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and area. With the support of the Province of Saskatchewan, the City of Saskatoon and the University of Saskatchewan, Meewasin undertakes programs and projects in river valley education, development and conservation.
Musee Ukraina Museum
This museum includes a variety of ethnic collections from Europe's largest country. Interpretive tours of the exhibits show Ukrainian history form prehistory to massive 20th century emigrations. Eastern Byzantine architecture and iconography is viewed at the adjacent cathedral.
  Museum of Antiquities
The collection consist of replicas purchased from the Louvre, the British Museum, the Museum of Antiquities in Delphi, the Acropolis Museum in Athens, as well as many others. in 1981, new facilities were acquired, and the collection was officially opened as the "Museum of Antiquities."
  Museum of Natural Sciences
The highlight of this museum is the 20 foot high T-Rex skeleton. Exhibits of other live mammals, bird, fish, and reptiles, minerals and exotic plants are showcased as well. Free to the public.

Saskatchewan Railway Museum
Experience the history of Saskatchewan's railway first hand. Display's include diesel locomotives, street cars, rolling stock, railway buildings and other railway artifacts. Rides available on operating railway motor cars. Open from Victoria Day weekend to September 30, hours vary with season.
Saskatoon International Raceway

SIR is home to the exciting sport of NHRA Championship Drag Racing. We also feature professional racers from all over Western Canada, as well as 'Street Legal' events perfect for novice racers. We run weekends May through September.
