What To Do In Saskatoon - November 2010

Updated on September 3, 2010

Oct 20 to Nov 3 Harvest presented by Persephone Theatre
Remai Arts Centre, 100 Spadina Crescent East
When the Duncansons retired from farming and moved to their condo in the city they just couldn’t bear to sell the old farmhouse. Unbeknownst to them “the nice young man” they rented to was growing something a little less legal than winter wheat. Now as they wait for some important news, good-hearted Allan and Charlotte fill us in on all the unexpected events that brought them to this moment. This prairie comedy sees two actors playing all 12 characters.

Winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical, Monty Python's Spamalot is the outrageous new musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the film classic "Monty Python and The Holy Grail." Based on Mike Nichol's original direction, with a book by Eric Idle and music and lyrics by the Grammy Award-winning team of Mr. Idle and John Du Prez, Spamalot tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail. Flying cows, killer rabbits, taunting Frenchmen and show-stopping musical numbers are just a few of the reasons audiences everywhere are eating up Spamalot.
