Children's Discovery Museum on the Saskatchewan

Thanks to the generosity of the Manitoba Children’s Museum and several groups in Saskatoon, the Children’s Discovery Museum has some new exhibits and activities. And we still have our old favourites too, like the Muddy Paws Animal Clinic. Come on in and learn through play! Hours are Monday to Saturday 9:30 – 4 and Sunday noon – 4. The Coldest Bicycle Parade in the World

Join us for Ice Cycle 2012 at the Saskatoon Farmer's Market. Ice Cycle will celebrate active transportation and promote the incredible resilience of people in Saskatoon. Taking place during the Wintershines Festival, the event is aimed at promoting cycling in Saskatoon as a year-round activity and mode of transportation. Ice Cycle is a celebration of winter bike riding for all ages. This event involves a workshop on winter riding at noon and a bike parade through the downtown area (on cleared, sanded streets without competing traffic) at 1:00pm. Feel free to dress up for the parade! |
